This series explores non conventional portraits about nostalgia, memory, and objects where attachment are presented as a totem objects of our past, present and expectations for the future. The paintings show a duality between the foldings and the sparkles as intimate spaces ready for transit when tactile simulations are approached.

photo and performance

Part of the performance made with the Cuetzalan Flyers, a Mexican Prehispanic ritual Dance where members of the group after a tough preparation climb around 33 mts for performing on the tallest part. This dance simulates human life stages; from childhood to dead. The collective sense of this ritual is directly related to the primary sense of social dances as a spiritual form of showing gratitude and prayer.
